UK Sniffer dogs scent detection course

Scent detection training has long been widely used across the world, for working and operational services. Our amazing dogs have been used to search for drugs, bombs, firearms, cash, contraband, missing people and human remains. Even more amazing in recent years dogs are being used for assistance purposes, medical alert and medical detection such as detecting cancer seeks in humans....WOW! We aim to give owners the skills to train and take part in scent training activities with their dogs, just like the working "Sniffer Dogs"!

On this course you will be learning....

Our course introduces you and your dog to the foundations of scentwork, including scent identification, indication and search. You'll learn how to develop your dog's ability to recognise a target scent, communicate when they've found it and use their nose to search for it.

Whether you're completely new to scentwork or simply looking for a new activity to enjoy with your dog, it's an opportunity to learn together, build skills and discover what your dog can achieve.
